Of course we were observing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/rule-of-six-comes-into-effect-to-tackle-coronavirus\">Rule of six<\/a> and in a well ventilated space &#8211; but it was nice to see people and sing together again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also managed to go for a run again on Wednesday &#8211; and planning my last run of the week for tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today B had Food Tech and was meant to cook Chicken Enchiladas and had to take in all the ingredients measured out with the vegetables (onion\/peppers\/garlic) pre-chopped &#8211; so of course we were up early this morning to make that happen. Unfortunately B got hit in the face by a frisbee during PE and so spent the whole Food Tech lesson holding an icepack to his face rather than cooking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Happily we were able to follow the recipe at home and with a bit of help B cooked us tea &#8211; which I liked but the kids weren&#8217;t wild about (B didn&#8217;t like the peppers, F didn&#8217;t like the kidney beans)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition because of Bs injury he didn&#8217;t wear his glasses home but put them in his blazer pocket &#8211; and somehow managed to knock them out of the pocket between getting off the bus and getting through the front door &#8211; so I had to go out scouring the route for spectacles &#8211; and eventually found them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay safe, stay strong x<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Feeling:\u00a0OK Listening to:\u00a0Country Roads \/ A Little Respect Watching:\u00a0The Umbrella Academy It&#8217;s been an uneventful few days really &#8211; work for me and D, school for the kids &#8211; but there have been a few things that have changed the routine a little.
