We’ve made an offer on the maisonette in Berkley Court<\/a>, and had it accepted (\u00a3215,000). So – hopefully within not too long a time, we will have a new home! Damyanti’s sister wants to buy our flat – so that makes that simple!<\/p>\n

We are trying hard not to get excited about it, and so not talking about it much!<\/p>\n

We also saw a second ‘financial adviser’ this evening, really just to make sure the advice we got last week was about right. However, unfortunately this one was a bit useless – he had a useless system into which he entered our details (slowly), and also wanted to impress on us how awful it would be if one of us died, had a terrible accident, or were otherwise struck down (of course, in order to sell us life insurance etc.)<\/p>\n

He also had to check our dates of birth (for the second time) to then tell us that would apply ‘if we were 45’!<\/p>\n

Suffice to say, that we laughed about it after, and won’t be going back to him to get our mortgage.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
